"YOU IDIOTS!! WHAT WENT WRONG!?" Mondo bellowed at Klank and Orbus "Well, y-y-y-yuir highness," Klank stuttered in fear "It t-t-turns out that our enlargement technology is incompatible with Vanpire pseudo-physiology. I'm afraid there's no way to work around it." "SO WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER!?" "We tried yuir highness, but ye sent us down before we could tell you." "Zedd and Divatox are sure to hear about this little action in their observation of the Rangers! I'll be a laughing stock!" "Not necessarily, King Mondo." Tracula interjected "Not if they perceive this to have actually been a feint to distract the Power Rangers while a second objective is achieved." "Oh?" Mondo was intrigued "Explain." "Using information gained about these Rangers, I have sent Cardaver, my most trusted minion, to secure something of great importance to the Red Ranger. He should be crossing the finish line any moment now."

Tracula told Klank and Orbus where to focus the scanner and they eagerly complied, glad that Mondo was distracted from their failure.

Angel Grove Race Track

Three streaks of colored light, one red, one pink, and one blue touched down in the pit area and resolved into three humans. Tommy, Kat, and Justin quickly looked around to make sure they hadn't been observed but saw no one.

"Tell me again why I have to help out and Matt doesn't." requested Justin "We both disassembled the Turbo Navigators." "Because," answered Tommy "Matt and Wendy can only stay morphed while they're close to each other, we're across town from that junkyard, and they need to stay morphed not only for safety's sake, but since they need to keep their identities secret." "So why couldn't they come here and let me help out there instead?" "Wendy knows the most about what's happening at that junkyard," said Kat "So she's the best person to find out about this Tracula and tell the Motorvators about Mondo."

Tommy began scanning the area. For some reason, the Turbo Navigators seemed a little heavier than before. A quick alarm begins to sound after a moment.

"Keep your eyes open, guys. Something's wrong."

Then they all heard it. An engine reving. They all turned around, just as a bright red racing car burst out of the garage and sped towards them.

"MOVE!" yells Tommy before they all roll to either one side or the other, allowing the car to miss them completely. As they climb to their feet, they look in shock as they realize that the car is coming back for another pass, and that there is no one driving.

"TRACULA! This has got to be his work!" says Justin. "RUN!" yells Kat. The three Rangers begin running as fast as they can, but the car kept gaining. "DON'T STOP FOR ANYTHING!" orders Tommy.

He knew that running was pointless. The car was just too fast. And it was gaining speed...
