Disclaimer: Saban owns Andros and Karone. Fool's Garden sings the song. I have a faulty memory and can't remember word for word what happened in the eps referred to, so I improvised. :)

Nothing
By: Jacqui Beres

There's no picture,
I could paint to show you,
What you mean to me

Andros stared at the locket, not wanting to believe. His heart simply could not process what his eyes were telling him to be true. That Astronema was his sister.

"Where did you get this?" He demanded, holding up the object.

"I've always had it," she snapped back as she stared down at the pictures displayed.

"You're Karone?" Andros said quietly, more to himself than to the Princess of Evil standing a scant 10 feet away from him.

You're more than love
And you are more than pain
No, no, there's no single word
That could explain

Andros could hardly contain his joy as he led Karone through the Megaship. She had defected and was now with him once more. He could barely wait to tell the others.

As he walked on the bridge, Ashley came toward him. "We were worried about you."

"Everything's fine," he replied, as he turned.

Karone stepped into the room, looking extremely shy despite recently being the Princess of Evil.

"Are you crazy?" TJ demanded. "That's Astronema."

"She's my sister." Andros snapped back. "She can lead us to Zordon," he added.

It's not that look in your eyes
When I am going
It's just everything-What you are

"I'll go to the Dark Fortress and reprogram the asteroid." Karone said softly.

"No! Absolutely not. I can't let you do that." Andros snapped back. He could not fault her bravery or courage, but he could not lose her. Not when he just got her back.

"It's the only way, Andros."

Therefore, he let her go, and had to listen as she confronted Ecliptor and was kidnapped once more.

"I shouldn't have let her go." Andros moaned, trying not to drown in his guilt and despair.

"We'll get her back, Andros." Ashley told him quietly, putting her arm around him.

You're more than meaning
You are more than time
You are redemption
You're the reason why

Andros stared at his sister's lifeless body. He had done it; he had killed his own sister. There was nobody else to blame except him. He should have tried harder to save her, instead of defending himself. He should have just let her kill him.

Sniffling, he carried her down the ramp, trying hard not to cry in front of the citizens of Angel Grove. Gently he laid his sister down and bent over to say goodbye. He could not help crying as he realized all the things he would never know about her. Things he had seen glimpses of when she was good. Her warmth and kindness, her dedication to those she loved. All that and more that they had yet to learn about her.

Don't you let them live in your soul
Whenever they will try to barricade the way that you go
You're fragile - souls can fly

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Andros asked for maybe the millionth time.

Karone nodded. "You can't, and someone has to find the Galaxy Saber."

Andros nodded and smiled. The past 5 years he and the others had a chance to meet the real Karone. The Karone everyone loved and wanted to be around. Granted, every once in a while there would be an insensitive question or a nasty look from someone, but Karone would just ignore them.

Andros knew her days of evil still haunted her at times, but that was one battle he could not fight for her. No matter how much he wanted to. All he could do was be there to listen to her.

"Just try not to get reprogrammed again," he joked.

Karone giggled. "Try not to kill me then."

It's not that look in your eyes
When I'm going
It's just everything - What you are
