"Ah, right Zordon." Tommy turns toward his friends. "I wonder what that is all about." He whispers to them. Tommy then teleports to the Animation Bay.
Alpha teleports to Zordon's private chamber and Zordon follows him.
The Rangers look at each other wondering what the mystery is all about. A few moments later Zordon re-appears.
"Zordon what was that all about?" Kat asks.
"RANGERS THERE IS NOTHING FOR YOU TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT. I JUST NEEDED TO ASK ALPHA TO DO SOMETHING FOR ME."
"What about Billy? I mean, is he alright?" Aisha worriedly asks.
"What was it that Alpha was going to tell us about his condition?" Adam adds.
"BILLY IS IN A STATE OF SUSPENDED ANIMATION."
The Rangers gasp.
"Oh man. Billy. It's a good thing Tommy isn't here to hear this." Rocky puts in.
"He'd go crazy." Adam adds
"We've got to tell him sooner or later. He has a right to know."
"Aisha's right. It's not going to do any good hiding it from him." Kat informs the boys.
"Just make sure I'm not around when you tell him. He'll kill me for sure." Rocky says with a shiver.
"Tell who, what?" Tommy asks, causing the others to jump.
"TOMMY, WHAT SWORD HAVE YOU FOUND?"
"Well Zordon. There are two questions on my lips at the moment. Firstly, why did Alpha try to run a scan on me? and secondly what were you lot talking about. I gather it was about me cause of the way you all jumped when I spoke. Zordon I want answers now!!"
"TOMMY IF YOU WOULD JUST CALM DOWN AND I WILL ANSWER BOTH QUESTIONS FOR YOU."
"I'm waiting."
"I ASKED ALPHA TO RUN THE SCAN BECAUSE I SAW YOUR CONDITION WHEN YOU TELEPORTED BACK IN HERE AFTER THE FIGHT AGAINST KAREN." The Rangers look at each other in confusion. "TOMMY WANTED YOU ALL TO TELEPORT BACK HERE BECAUSE HE WAS NOT FEELING AS GOOD AS HE LET ON. I HAVE THE RESULTS FROM THE SCAN HERE TOMMY. BUT BEFORE I TELL YOU THE RESULTS ROCKY WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU OF BILLY'S CURRENT CONDITION."
"Please Zordon, don't make me tell him." Rocky pleads. Tommy looks at him strangely.
"ROCKY YOU WILL REMAIN HERE AND YOU WILL TELL HIM EVERYTHING."
"Alright Zordon." Rocky looks to the other Rangers for support but they only nod him on. "Here goes. Tommy, remember when Alpha was going to tell us something about Billy but the alarm beat him to it?"
"What have you found out Rocky?" Tommy asks tightly. He gets a wave of dizziness but shakes it off. The others begin to notice his strange behaviour and Zordon begins to grow more concerned about his prized pupil.
Rocky looks around to the others nervously.
"Go on Rocky, Tell him." Kat eggs him on gently.
"I guess there is no other way to tell you but to just say it out straight. Tommy, Billy is in a state of suspended animation" Rocky blurts it out like bad medicine. He cringes waiting for the explosion that he knows is coming.
"WHAT?!! Rocky, you realise that you watched Neutralizer do this to him while you held the others back!!!" Tommy explodes. He feels a sharp pain in his head and sharply inhales and let's out a slight moan of pain. He puts a hand up to his head and tries to shake off the pain. Zordon watches Tommy with great concern.
"ALPHA, TELEPORT A BED BEHIND TOMMY IMMEDIATELY."
"Yes Zordon." The little robot bustles about and quickly carries out Zordon's order.
"Zordon I am fine! I just have a bit of a headache. I'll be fine." Tommy turns his attention back to Rocky "Rocky I can't believe you did this to Billy!!!"
"What was I supposed to do?!" Rocky shoots back.
"Exactly what I did!!! Adam, did Billy get the device ready for you?"
"Uh...Yes he did Tommy." Adam says quietly.
"Did he spray you all with it?"
"He managed to spray us all but himself. The Neutralizer got to him before he got a chance to spray himself." "Yet you were all protected but Billy." Tommy's voice begins to get louder but at the same time weaker. "Rocky, you chose to hold the others back. You said and I quote ' I was worried that the same would happen to the others.'. how could it Rocky?!! You were ALL PROTECTED!! Billy wasn't. I swear to you I am going to make you pay for this!!" Tommy begins to slur his words as he feels intense pain building inside his head. Zordon teleports Tommy to his private chamber and secures him in there.
"ALPHA TELEPORT THE BED AND YOURSELF TO TOMMY IMMEDIATELY. YOU MUST HAVE HIM LAY ON IT IMMEDIATELY."
"Right Zordon." Alpha then disappears with the bed.
"Zordon what is going on with Tommy?" Adam asks alarmed.
"I WILL TELL YOU IN GOOD TIME. ONE MOMENT PLEASE RANGERS." Zordon bows his head and communicates with Alpha. The Rangers look at each other worried. Zordon re-opens his eyes and looks at his pupils. "RANGERS, THE SWORD THAT KAREN IS USING IS THE SWORD OF DOOM. LIKE THE SWORD OF DARKNESS, THE SWORD OF DOOM HOLDS LORD ZEDD'S HOLD OVER KAREN. IT ALSO HARNESSES POWER LIKE NO OTHER. PURPLE RANGER CAN AND WILL USE THAT POWER ALONG WITH HER OWN TO DESTROY YOU."
"Now that we know what the weapon is, can we destroy it?" Rocky questions.
"THE SWORD HAS NO KNOWN WAY OF DESTRUCTION."
"There's got to be some way." Kat hopes.
"Zordon, what about Tommy? What's wrong with him?" Adam inquires.
Zordon remains quiet. The Rangers get more and more worried. Finally Zordon speaks. "RANGERS PLEASE GO TO THE YOUTH CENTRE AND I WILL CONTACT YOU WHEN I KNOW MORE ABOUT TOMMY'S CONDITION."
"But Zordon..." Rocky protests.
"GO. I WILL CONTACT YOU IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN BILLY'S CONDITION."
"Yes Zordon." The Rangers chorus then teleport out.
Zordon then teleports to his private chamber where Alpha is waiting with Tommy. Tommy is laying unconscious on the bed. "ALPHA, HOW IS TOMMY'S CONDITION?"
"Aye yai yai!! Zordon! Tommy was unconscious when I got here!!"
"ALPHA, WE MUST ACT SWIFTLY. TOMMY IS IN TERRIBLE DANGER."
"What do you mean?"
"TOMMY'S MIND IS SHOWING SIGNS OF EVILITY ONCE MORE."
"No!! You don't mean..."
"I'M AFRAID SO ALPHA, IF WE DON'T DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT FAST THEN WE ARE GOING TO LOSE TOMMY TO THE DARK SIDE FOREVER." "Zordon, what are we going to tell the Rangers? How has this happened?"
"WE WILL TELL THE OTHER RANGERS THE TRUTH. JUST AS SOON AS TOMMY REGAINS CONSCIOUSNESS. WE MUST TELL TOMMY FIRST. HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN BATTLE THE DARK SIDE. AS TO HOW IT HAPPENED, I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS CAUSED BY THE SWORD OF DOOM. UNFORTUNATELY WE..."
At that moment, Tommy begins to moan as he regains consciousness. "Oh man! Where am I?" Tommy asks weakly.
"TOMMY YOU MUST LISTEN TO ME. LISTEN TO ME CAREFULLY."
"Zordon? I'm listening. What's happening to me? Why do I feel so weak?"
"TOMMY, THIS WILL COME AS A SHOCK TO YOU AND I NEED YOU TO REMAIN CALM."
"What do you mean? Zordon, you are scaring me. What's going on?"
"TOMMY WHEN ALPHA RAN THAT SCAN ON YOU, HE WAS SCANNING FOR ABNORMALITIES IN YOUR BODY. I NOTICED WHEN YOU TELEPORTED TO THE COMMAND CENTRE THAT YOU SEEMED WEAK AND UNCO-ORDINATED. THE SCAN HAS CONFIRMED MY DEEPEST FEAR. TOMMY, LORD ZEDD HAS SOMEHOW INFECTED YOU WITH A VERY POWERFUL POTION THAT CAN AND WILL TURN YOU BACK TO THE DARK SIDE. THERE IS NO KNOWN CURE FOR THIS POTION."
"NO!!! Zordon, please!! I can't go back to the dark side!!! If I do, then I will surely destroy you because of these powers you have given me!! Isn't there anything you can do to prevent this?!! Take my powers away!! Put me into a force field!!! Anything!!! Please!!! You can't let me go back!!! How did the potion get into me?!"
"TOMMY PLEASE, I KNOW YOU ARE SCARED BUT YOU HAVE GOT TO CALM DOWN. COME STAND BEFORE ME MY YOUNG LEADER." Tommy slowly, and painfully, gets up and stands before his Mentor. " TOMMY, YOU ARE STRONG IN MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT. YOU CAME IN CONTACT WITH THIS POTION WHEN YOU FOUGHT AGAINST KAREN. THE POTION WAS IMPEDED INTO THE SWORD OF DOOM. WHEN THE SWORD CAME IN CONTACT WITH YOU, THE POTION WAS TRANSFERRED THROUGH TO YOUR BLOOD STREAM. AS I SAID BEFORE. THERE IS NO KNOWN ANTIDOTE FOR THE POTION. I KNOW YOU ARE SCARED YOUNG FALCON. TRUTHFULLY, I AM TOO."
"You're scared?!" Tommy asks incredulous. "Why?"
"TOMMY, DO YOU REMEMBER ALL THAT YOU DID AS THE EVIL GREEN RANGER?"
"Yes Zordon," Tommy lowers his head and voice in shame. "I do."
"YOU WERE QUITE A POWERFUL FOE. THE RANGERS BARELY STOPPED YOU. THERE WAS A TIME BACK THERE WHERE THEY WERE READY TO GIVE UP. IF IT WASN'T FOR ALPHA'S PEP TALK, AS YOU WOULD CALL IT, THEY WOULD'VE GIVEN UP AND YOU AND RITA WOULD'VE WON. YOU EFFECTIVELY DESTROYED ME, WITHOUT KNOWING THE MECHANICS OF THE COMMAND CENTRE. NOW, 1 YEAR ON, YOU KNOW THE MECHANICS OF THE COMMAND CENTRE THEREFORE, IF YOU DO TURN TO THE DARK SIDE, YOU WILL QUITE EASILY DESTROY ME AND BE ABLE TO FIX IT SO THAT I COULD NOT COME BACK AT ALL."
"Zordon!!! NO!!! I don't want to go back!!! Please!! I love you too much to do that to you!! Isn't there anyway I can fight this spell?!! Isn't there any chance of beating this?! Please Zordon. I can't go back there!! I will kill myself before I do!!"
"TOMMY LISTEN TO ME, MY SON, YOU ARE STRONG. YOU CAN AND WILL FIGHT THIS. YOU MUST NEVER LOSE CONCENTRATION. WHAT I AM ABOUT TO TELL YOU IS SOMETHING THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW, TOMMY."
"I do?" Tommy is now confused.
"TOMMY, LOOK DEEP INSIDE YOURSELF AND TELL ME WHAT YOU FIND. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO LAY ON THE TABLE WHILST YOU DO THIS."
Tommy does as he is told. He lays himself down onto the bed and closes his eyes. He then places himself into a deep meditative trance. Half an hour later Tommy opens his eyes. It's what Zordon has dreaded. Tommy's eyes flash red momentarily. "I see what you mean Zordon. But I must warn you, I think your warning has come too late. I can feel the evil entering my mind. Within ten minutes I will be fully under Lord Zedd's control." Tommy says quietly. "Please Zordon, I beg of you, destroy me while you still can. It is best to lose me rather than have this planet lose you and the Power Rangers."
"I'M AFRAID I CANNOT DO THAT TOMMY. ALPHA CONTACT THE RANGERS IMMEDIATELY. TOMMY I AM GOING TO HAVE TO PLACE YOU IN A FORCE FIELD. TO PROTECT THE RANGERS AND MYSELF."
Tommy lowers his head. "I understand Zordon. It's for the best. If I try to hurt you, any of you, could you tell them for me, I'm sorry." Tommy requests sadly. "I know that once I am evil, I won't care, but, could you ask the Rangers to let me know how Billy is? Maybe by reminding me what I hold dear will break the spell. I don't know but I am hopeful that that is the way. Could you ask the Rangers to constantly remind me of those things please?" Tommy begs.
"OF COURSE I WILL TOMMY. THE RANGERS AND MYSELF WILL NOT REST UNTIL WE HAVE YOU BACK. THAT IS A PROMISE FROM ME TO YOU MY YOUNG LEADER. IN OUR EYES YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR FRIEND AND LEADER, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS." By now Tommy is crying freely. Zordon, Alpha and Tommy teleport back into the main chamber of the Command Centre. Alpha then places a force field around Tommy, then contacts the other Rangers. "Rangers come in."
"We read you Alpha." Rocky's voice replies.
"Teleport to the Command Centre immediately. It's urgent!"
"We're on our way." Rocky replies. Then four columns of light enters the Command Centre and the Rangers appear. "What's the..." Rocky stops short, seeing the grim face on Zordon and Tommy inside the force field crying. "What on earth is going on here?!"
"Zordon why have you got Tommy in a force field?!!!" Kat demands.
"RANGERS, TOMMY HAS SOMETHING HE MUST TELL YOU."
The Rangers face Tommy, who has now stopped crying and tries to put on a brave face for his team mates and friends. "When I was fighting Karen with the Sword of Doom, it nicked me and one of Lord Zedd's potions was on the tip of the Sword." Tommy pauses as he tries to pull himself together.
"Tommy? What was the potion? Are you going to be alright?" Aisha gently asks, the concern evident in her voice.
Tommy begins to feel the evil starting to take over his mind so he talks quickly. "I'm about to become evil again! Zordon!!! It's happening!!!! I'm sorry guys, I love you all. Zordon will ex...." Tommy let's out an evil laugh. The Rangers jump back in surprise.
"TOMMY HAS BEEN INFECTED WITH A POTION OF UNKNOWN ORIGINS. THIS POTION HAS TURNED TOMMY BACK TO THE DARK SIDE WHERE HE WILL REMAIN FOREVER. I'M SORRY RANGERS BUT AS YOU HAVE JUST WITNESSED WE CANNOT HELP HIM ANYMORE. HE MUST HELP HIMSELF."
"You fools!!! I am going to destroy each one of you!!" Tommy taunts then laughs evilly. "I am more powerful than any of you!!"
"Tommy?! No!!! You have to fight it!! Please!!!" Kat pleads.
"Oh I will be fighting Kitty Kat!" Tommy spits out. "I will be fighting you!!!" Tommy let's out another evil laugh that chills the Rangers to the bone.
At that moment the Rangers here a weak moan. Billy is awakening. The Rangers look at each other than as one dart for Billy.
"Billy?" Adam asks.
"Come on Billy, you can do it!!" Rocky eggs.
"We need you Billy! Please come back!" Aisha tells her friend.
"Oh man, what happened? Where am I?" Billy asks weakly.
"Billy, you're back!" Kat hugs Billy.
Billy's strength begins to come back at an amazingly quick rate. He sits up then looks around. Then he gets off the bed. "Hey Guys. Did you miss me?!" The Rangers laugh. Billy looks at each of them and realises that they are missing one in number.
"Where's Tommy?"
The Rangers look sad. Adam speaks up. "Billy, while Tommy was fighting Karen, the new Purple Ranger, he was nicked by the sword she carries. The Sword of Doom. There was a potion at the end of it and it has turned Tommy back to the dark side for good."
"NO!!!" Oh my god!!! Where is he?!"
"He's in the Command Centre. Zordon has him in a force field."
"I don't think a force field will hold him. Come on guys we have to get back in there fast!! We are in serious trouble." Billy high tails into the main chamber of the Command Centre with the others close behind. Billy stops short causing the others to run into him. They fall into a heap on the floor and hear Tommy's evil laugh waft around their ears. Billy grimaces. *It is true!* He thinks. *I will not rest until I have you back on our team Tommy. I promise*
"Well, well, well. This is fitting now isn't it. The Rangers at my feet and I haven't even touched them." He laughs cruelly. The Rangers cringe.
"THAT IS ENOUGH TOMMY!!" Zordon's patience for Tommy's taunts have grown short. "YOU ARE OUR PRISONER AND YOU WILL BE QUIET." Tommy looks up at Zordon and laughs at him.
"Oh? I suppose you are going to take my voice away too?! Just wait till Lord Zedd let's me out of here. I will destroy each one of you, starting with you, Zordon, then I will take a can opener to the tin robot here, then Blue Ranger, I will finish what I started with you a year ago." Tommy let's out another evil laugh.
The Rangers look around to Billy and Billy looks extremely uncomfortable. *Oh man, I barely beat him last time. I couldn't even touch him! I wish Jason was here now.* "Tommy get a grip on yourself man!! Fight the potion! Fight Rita and Zedd! You can't let them win you over again!" Billy pleads with Tommy.
"Oh poor little boy blue. What's the matter? Scared I'll beat you up then kill you?! You should be." Tommy laughs at Billy cruelly and Billy takes an involuntary step back and Tommy laughs at him once more. The other Rangers gather infront of the force field and look Tommy right in the eye.
"Tommy shut up! You have no right to do this to Billy. He is your friend. We all are." Adam tells Tommy.
"TOMMY YOU WANTED ME TO TELL YOU BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. AS YOU CAN NOW SEE FOR YOURSELF, BILLY IS GOING TO BE JUST FINE. HE HAS JUST ABOUT FULLY HEALED THANKS TO HIS ACCELERATED HEALING POWERS." Zordon informs Tommy.
Tommy looks up at Zordon and throws his head back and laughs. "You fool!! What makes you think that I care about Billy's condition!!! I want him dead!!! Like I want you and everyone else in the Command Centre dead!!"
"ALPHA PLEASE PLACE A SOUND BARRIER AROUND TOMMY."
"Ayi yai yai, yes Zordon." Alpha responds gloomily then places the sound barrier around Tommy.
Tommy's voice is now muted.
"Zordon what can we do to help him?! There has to be something!" Billy pleads with his mentor.
"BILLY, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND, THIS SPELL THAT LORD ZEDD HAS PLACED ONTO TOMMY IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN THAT OF RITA'S. I AM AFRAID THAT ANY HELP THAT TOMMY WILL RECEIVE IS FROM HIMSELF AND YOU."
"Me? What do you mean?" Billy asks in surprise.
"YOU MUST REMIND HIM OF YOUR FRIENDSHIP TOGETHER. WHENEVER YOU GO OUT TO BATTLE TOMMY YOU MUST ALWAYS REMIND HIM OF THE TIMES THAT YOU HAVE HAD TOGETHER. AS YOU KNOW I CANNOT HOLD HIM HERE FOREVER..."
"You got that right Zordon!!" Adam's alarmed voice cut's Zordon off.
"ADAM WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"
"Tommy's gone!!"
The Rangers turn to the force field and find that it is empty. The Rangers exchange worried glances. Zordon takes immediate action.
"BILLY, ADAM YOU MUST ACT SWIFTLY. CUT OFF TOMMY'S TELEPORTATION PATH INTO THE COMMAND CENTRE. HE MUST NOT BE PERMITTED TO PENETRATE THE COMMAND CENTRE."
"Yes Zordon. Come on Adam, let's do it quickly."
Adam looks at Billy with accusing eyes. "How can you be so calm about this Billy?!! He has been your friend longer than ours and I am a total wreak!!! I can't believe that you are just accepting this!!!" Adam turns away from Billy.
Billy walks up behind Adam and places a hand on Adam's shoulder. "Look man, this is very difficult for me. But Adam, you weren't there the last time that Tommy was evil. His first move was to come in here and destroy the Command Centre. He cut Zordon off from us. The whole time we had no help from him!" Billy turns Adam around forcefully and looks Adam straight in the eye. "Tommy is dangerous without his powers. With his powers he's ten times more dangerous. If we don't do this than Lord Zedd will gain control of the Earth in just a matter of moments with Tommy on his side. This is as hard on me as it is on you but we have to be strong. We can't give up until Tommy is back with us. Now let's get started." Adam nods and follows Billy toward the communication console. They get a lock on Tommy's signal and block it from entry to the Command Centre. With that done, Adam turns away and let's the tears flow freely. The Rangers gather around him and comfort him.
The Command Centre's alarm system goes off. Billy brings up the disturbance on the Viewing Globe and the Rangers turn to face it. They gasp as they see Tommy and Karen both morphed and terrorising the civilians.
"No, I...I can't." Kat gasps.
The other Rangers look at the globe in shock.
"RANGERS, I KNOW THIS IS DIFFICULT FOR EACH OF YOU BUT YOU MUST GO OUT THERE AND STOP THEM BOTH AT ALL COSTS. TRY TO DESTROY KAREN'S SWORD. PERHAPS BY DESTROYING THE SWORD OF DOOM, YOU WILL DESTROY BOTH SPELLS. GOOD LUCK POWER RANGERS AND MAY THE POWER PROTECT YOU ALL." Zordon's word's cut through the Rangers like a skewer.
The Rangers look at each other then Billy cries out, "It's morphin time!!"
"Black Ranger Power!!"
"Pink Ranger Power!!"
"Blue Ranger Power!!"
"Yellow Ranger Power!!"
"Red Ranger Power!!"
The Rangers teleport to the park where the White and Purple Rangers are waiting for their arrival. "It's about time you lot decided to show." White Ranger taunts. "I was beginning to think that you were too chicken to face me and Karen."
"Tommy!! Don't do this man!! You don't want to do this!!" Blue Ranger tries to reason with his oldest friend.
"Oh but I do Billy!! No doubt that you were the one that cut my access to your precious Command Centre!! For that you will pay dearly!" White Ranger leaps into the air and begins to attack Blue Ranger.
The other Rangers try to fend him off but he proves to be too powerful. The forgotten Purple Ranger sneaks up behind the Rangers and throws an energy bolt toward them. The Rangers fall to the ground stunned. Blue Ranger and White Ranger, who were away from the blast, continue fighting.
White Ranger rains a quick combination of punches and kicks on Blue Ranger, who only manages to block the first four. Blue Ranger tires and falls to the ground.
"That's just like you Billy. You were always too weak to defend yourself. Now get up and fight me!"
Billy struggles and slowly gets to his feet and White Ranger re-starts his brutal attack on Blue Ranger as more and more punches and kicks rain down onto his body. Blue Ranger draws in a ragged gasp of air and falls to the ground once more. Blue Ranger tries again to reason with his leader.
"Tommy, come on man, you don't want to do this!" Blue Ranger pleads weakly.
"Why not Billy? I'm enjoying myself way too much to even think of stopping. Now get up and fight me!!"
"I won't fight you! I refuse to fight you."
"Then you will die." White Ranger grabs Saba and points Saba's eyes toward Billy. Black Ranger looks up from his fight with Purple Ranger in time to see Blue Ranger about to be blasted by Saba. He leaps into the air and knocks White Ranger over. Saba's bolt hit's Purple Rangers' Sword of Doom and the sword disintegrates.
Purple Ranger stops fighting the Rangers and looks around in a daze. "What just happened?"
"Karen?" Pink Ranger asks.
"Hey! What am I doing dressed as a Power Ranger? Who appointed me Purple Ranger and forgot to tell me about it?"
The Pink, Yellow and Red Rangers laugh. "We'll fill you in later Karen but right now we have business to take care of." Red Ranger informs her. "Right. Um...What business?"
"White Ranger. We have to fight him, but I warn you, he is extremely dangerous. And powerful."
Purple Ranger is cleanly confused but goes along with the other Rangers' anyway.
"Come on guys!! Billy and Adam need our help!" Yellow Ranger says impatiently.
The Rangers rush over to where Blue and Black Rangers are struggling with White Ranger. White Ranger leaps into the air and lands onto Black Rangers' Shoulders and Blue Rangers Shoulders. He flips them over and delivers a powerful punch to each Ranger's chest. Red and Purple Ranger's fly through the air and double power kick White Ranger on his chest. White Ranger flies back and crashes into a tree. He lands onto the ground with a heavy thud and slowly gets back up laughing.
Yellow and Pink Rangers help Blue and Black Rangers up. The evil laughter reaches their ears and the Rangers look at each other uneasily.
"I don't like the sounds of that." Purple Ranger states in alarm.
"Guys we have to retreat back to the Command Centre. If we fight Tommy, we could very well be destroyed. You don't know him like I do when he is like this." Billy informs the Rangers.
"But if we leave him then he will destroy Angel Grove!" Pink Ranger cries out.
"If we fight him we lose our lives. We're useless dead. Now let's go."
The Rangers teleport back to the Command Centre. White Ranger power's down and becomes Tommy. Tommy's eyes flash red then return to normal. He heads for the Youth Centre.

"Zordon, We got our butt's kicked out there!!" Blue Ranger cries out.
"Tommy is more powerful now than he was before. I don't know how we can fight him. We know him personally now, it was different before. We didn't know who was under the mask."
"THAT WILL BE HIS UNDOING RANGERS. YOU MUST MAKE HIM REMEMBER. MY SENSORS TELL ME HE HAS POWERED DOWN AND IS IN THE YOUTH CENTRE. KAREN YOU MUST STAY HERE WHILE THE RANGERS GO TO THE YOUTH CENTRE. I WOULD LIKE TO RUN YOU THROUGH A FEW THINGS FIRST."
"Yes Zordon. I'll be with you guys soon."
"Alright Karen. Come on guys. We have to get to Tommy." Billy adds.
The Rangers teleport out leaving Karen behind with Zordon and Alpha.

The Rangers walk into the Youth Centre and sit at their usual table.
They look around the Youth Centre and spot Tommy working out on the gym equipment. The Rangers notice a look of pure concentration on Tommy's face. "Man! Tommy is really working it." Kat states.
"I know. I hate to think what is going through his mind right now." Rocky shudders.
"I just hope that we can beat him. He's tough enough just free-sparring him on friendly terms, I'm not looking forward to the fight with him even with our powers." Adam says in a hushed voice.
"Not forgetting that his powers are twice as strong as ours." Aisha adds looking positively terrified.
While the Rangers are talking about how they are going to handle Tommy, Billy has remained quiet. Lost in his own thoughts. *...we barely stopped him last time, and he was in partial control then. what about this time? he has no control and twice the power as last time.
we don't stand a chance. ..*
"...Billy?...Billy, Earth to Billy, come in Billy?" Aisha called her friend.
Billy shook himself out of his trance. "Huh?..What? Oh, sorry guys, I was just thinking."
"Care to share those thoughts?" Adam asked.
"Guy's this is going to be allot harder than any of you have yet anticipated. Last time Tommy was under a spell he was partially in control. We only just barely managed to stop him. He almost beat us.
This time," Billy lowers his head and shakes it. "he has absolutely no control and has twice the power. There is no sword holding his spell in place, so we can't break it and hope that it will break his spell.
We have to bring in re-enforcement's. I need to call on Jason, Zack, Kim and Trini this time. No offence guys, but, they have experience with Tommy's evilness. You don't.
"I mean, Adam, you look up at him like he's perfect, which he is, but seeing this side of him, it could destroy the image you have of him completely. Rocky, to you he's like the mighty leader that you would just love to be. Kat, you are in love with him and Aisha he's like a brother to you. To me he is my big brother and protector, as well as my leader and great friend, but, I know this side of him. I've seen it before and it's down right scary. The others all respect him as much as we do but well basically, we have the experience to fight the evil Tommy. You don't."
"Billy what are you trying to say here?" Rocky asks.
"Let's go to the Command Centre and talk about this. I don't want this plan out in the open." That being said, Billy gets up and walks to the entrance of the Youth Centre, then teleports. The others follow suit.

"RANGERS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE?!" Zordon asks in surprise.
"Zordon, I have a plan that just might work with helping Tommy."
"WHAT IS YOUR PLAN BILLY?"
"What if we gave Jason, Zack, Kim and Trini the power back and have them fight Tommy. After all, the five of us do have the experience to battle Tommy, having been there before, and Jase does know Tommy's fighting pattern enough to keep up with him."
Rocky can't believe his ears. "What?!! You want to give our powers back to them?!!"
"ROCKY, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT BILLY HAS THE EARTH'S BEST INTERESTS AT HEART. I AGREE WITH WHAT HE HAS SAID. IT MAKES SENSE THAT THE FIVE ORIGINAL RANGERS SHOULD FIGHT TOMMY. JASON KNOWS TOMMY'S FIGHTING WELL. ALPHA GET A VISUAL ON EACH RANGER AND TELEPORT THEM HERE WHEN THEY ARE ALONE."
"Right away Zordon." Alpha gets busy with the visuals and begins to teleport each teenager individually when they are alone.
Kimberly comes in first. She lands on her bottom and quickly gets up.
She looks around and soon realises what just happened to her.
"Zordon?! Alpha?! BILLY?!! Ohmigosh!!" She gives Billy a huge bear hug. Billy returns the hug, equally happy to see his old friend. Soon all the other teenagers are teleported to the Command Centre and each of them are equally happy to see each other and the Command Centre once more.
Jason steps forward, knowing that this wasn't just a social teleport.
"Zordon, Billy, what's going on? Why have you brought us back? Where's Tommy?"
"TOMMY IS THE REASON YOU ARE HERE."
Kim let's out a faint gasp and covers her mouth. "Is he....alright?"
"I'M AFRAID NOT, KIMBERLY. LORD ZEDD HAS PLACED AN EVIL POTION ONTO THE TIP OF THE SWORD OF DOOM. THIS IS KAREN, THE NEWEST ADDITION TO OUR TEAM. SHE WIELDED THE SWORD OF DOOM. WHEN TOMMY WAS FIGHTING KAREN, KAREN SWIPED AT HIM WITH THE SWORD AND THE TIP SLASHED THROUGH AND PENETRATED TOMMY'S SKIN."
"Zordon, what's up with that?! I mean, what are you getting at?" Zack questions.
"TOMMY HAS, ONCE AGAIN, BEEN MANIPULATED BY THE SIDE OF EVIL."
"Guys, it was my idea to bring you here. We have fought Tommy once before when he was the Green Ranger. Now we need you to take back your powers and fight him as the White Ranger. As you know, White Ranger's powers are far greater in strength and agility than that of the Green Ranger. What you don't know is that he is in no control this time. We need you. I need you, to fight alongside me and try to break Lord Zedd's grip on Tommy. We know what Tommy is capable of and are aware of the dangers. I'm sorry Rocky, Adam, Aisha and Kat but I'm afraid you don't fully understand the situation as well as the old team do.
Please, Give them your powers for this one fight against Tommy. We know how to stop him. How to get through to him. Jason knows his fighting technique and can help us beat, and if we have to, destroy him."
Rocky looks from his friends to the old team then up to Zordon.
"Alright, we'll do it." He agrees solemnly. The others nod their agreement. Then Billy faces his other friends.
"We're definitely in." Jason confirms.
