Part One

Laura flopped back on her bed an dcranked her 98 Degrees CD.
It's the hardest thing
I'll ever have to do
To look you in the eye
And tell you I don't love you
Laura had just broken up with her boyfriend Nathan over something extremely stupid too. Suddenly the door to her quarters burst open and Kelsey ran in. "Michelle said she's picking up something weird in Quadrant 1526!" she said. Laura scrambled to her feet, switched off her CD player and grabbed her morpher out of her desk drawer. "Just in case," she said. Michelle nodded and showed Laura that she had the same thought and gotten her morpher. Laura hit her communicator and said, "Kevin, Danny, Michelle, meet me and Kelsey at the docking port." With the the two women, one wearing red and the other wearing pink, ran off.
In the cockpit of the shuttle that Kelsey had unofficially named Starhawk, Laura and Michelle were going over some last minute diagnostics while Kelsey and the boys were tying stuff down in the back. Finally Danny poked his head in and said, "Okay, we're ready."
"Strap yourselves in folks, cause here we go..." With that Laura piloted the shuttle out of the docking port and out into space.
Michelle closed her eyes and concentrated, finally opening her eyes and
pointing. "There," she said, pointing at a glowing area in space.
"What is that?" Kevin wanted to know. Laura shrugged and said, "I don't know,
but I'm willing to find out!"
"Laura," Kelsey said. "It could be dangerous."
"So?" the young woman in red retorted. "You know me, the adventure freak."
"That's why you snuck on board Terra Venture?" Danny asked. Laura nodded.
"That and Meredith got picked to go...and look what happened to her..." Just
then she looked up and said, "Okay we're going in, hold on!!"
Everyone on board held on as tight as they could as Laura piloted the shuttle
into the space anomaly.
They weren't expecting what they were about to find.
Dimension #1
Leo was watching what he thought was a supernova, when suddenly the scanner in
his hand started beeping. He looked at it then hit his communicator.
"Um..Kendrix, get down here."
Minutes later, his friend Kendrix was down in the cargo bay asking, "What's up?"
"Check this out and tell me if the scanner's acting weird," Leo said, handing the young blonde woman the scanner. Kendrix did a quick check and said, "It's working fine, why do you ask?"
"Because it picked up something in the middle of that supernova," Leo said, pointing out the window. Kendrix ran a scan on it with her own scanner and said, "Leo that isn't a supernova. That's a...a...well I don't know what it is, but I think it's a doorway between dimensions and something came through it." She handed him her scanner and said, "I gotta go tell Commander Stanton about this."
"Like he'll believe you," Leo said. Kendrix shrugged and said, "Worth a shot," then ran off.
Two hours later, the Starhawk was in the cargo bay and Leo was investigating.
What he found was absolutely amazing.
Five unconscious people on board, and four of them looked exactly like his friends...but the one in red was different. He knelt down next to the chair and got a good look at its occupant. *If she's right and that was a doorway to another dimension, then those four have got to be doubles for Maya, Kai, Kendrix and Damon....* Leo thought as his gaze drifted back to the chair in front of him. *And this girl is supposed to be a double for....me...*
Just then the young woman in red stirred and opened her eyes. "What the....?
Where am I?" she asked.
