The melody rang through the airlock from the portable radio he'd found on the
MegaShip; his heart sinking at the words that he had written to her just days after she'd
left…hours after Karone joined them.
Here in the darkness

Dear Kendrix,
I never had the chance to tell you exactly how good of a friend you were when you
were with us. I heard this song today and I couldn't help but think of you. The song put into
words how much I miss you…how much I wonder where you are.
There are so many questions that I want to ask you right now! So many things I want
to tell you. Are you a ghost? Are you still alive somehow? Are you in heaven? Do you love
me as much as I love you? I do love you Kendrix…and I'm now kicking myself for not telling
you that much when you were with us.
Karone is handling your powers good so far, but only time will tell if she is going to
be as good of a fighter or a friend as you were. I know, at this stage in my life, I want no one
but you.
I love you Kendrix! Forgive me for not telling you earlier, but I didn't know how.

Leo put the letter back into the bottle and chuckled a little to himself. "Message in a
Bottle to the afterworld. I really need to seek…" his words were stopped by the bright pink
star off in the distance. "Is that my sign Kendrix?" He doubted it, but teleported the bottle
out into space¾heading straight for the star.

"I'll always be there." Kendrix's words echoed through out the empty room. Leo
couldn't help but search out a source¾praying with all his might that she was back with
him. "Remember that Leo and one day we will be together for eternity."
Just as the light mysteriously, the pink star's twinkle vanished. "I'm keeping you to
that promise Kendrix. Both of those promises!" His sweet innocent smile gazed in the
direction of the star, their star, and dreamed about his beautiful Pink Ranger.

Kendrix watched as Leo gazed at her, thinking that she was only a faded star in the
distance. The tears flowed off her face. "I love you too, Leo. I always have." His letter
clasped in her hands as if they were her only key to living.
