"Oh, you're just the kutest widdle thing!" Aisha Campbell cooed at the black and white ball of fur she was holding. It trilled at her. "Yes you are! You are just precious!" She kissed it.

"Who ya talkin' to, Aisha?" Kimberly Harte asked as she sat next to her friend.

"Piggums." Aisha proudly displayed the fat baby guinea pig. "Isn't he sweet!"

Kimberly cuddled the little guinea pig. It sniffed around, then climbed down her shirt. "Oh! Aisha!" She squealed. A pair of brown eyes peered out over the hem of the shirt. If the girls didn't know better, they would have sworn Piggums was laughing. "Aisha, he's gone down my shirt! He's sitting in my bra!" Piggums let out another trill, then snuggled down in Kimberly's pink lace bra.

"I think he likes it down there." Aisha laughed.

Just then, Tommy Oliver, Rocky de Santos, Adam Chung and Billy Mitchell entered the biology room. Tommy leaned over to kiss his girlfriend, then paused. "Who's this?" He asked.

"Piggums." Aisha giggled.

"Well, Piggums, you are cute, but I'm afraid that if any man is gonna be in there, it'll be me." Tommy scratched the guinea pig's head.

"Wheet!" Piggums responded. He scrunched down farther as Tommy tried to lift him out of his comfortable nest. "Wheeeeet!" He protested.

"Oh, Tommy, let him in there!" Kimberly laughed. "If he likes it that much, he might as well stay there."

"OK." Tommy laughed. Then, he looked at the Yellow Ranger. "Aisha, how's the breeding project comin' along?" He asked, referring to Aisha's science project: breeding guinea pigs and other rodents to monitor fur types and colors. The babies would go to loving student homes. Piggums was the smallest guinea pig of the latest litter.

"Not so good. Brownie just died yesterday. That only leaves Silver to breed with Teddy." Aisha sighed. She was still hurting over the guinea pig's death.

"I'm sorry." Tommy whispered. Then, he looked at Piggums again. "That was your mama, right? I'm sorry. It's hard to loose your mama." He stroked Piggums' head. Piggums trilled out his happiness. He didn't miss Brownie. Aisha had become his mama.

Billy picked up Jack, his "research assistant," and gave the little white mouse a piece of cheese. Jack devoured it and nipped Billy's finger in the process. "Ow! Watch those teeth, Jack. They are sharp." He chided the mouse. Jack looked sheepish and wrapped his tail around his nose. He squeaked. "That's OK. You're forgiven." Billy stroked the mouse's head with his finger.

Rocky and Adam had picked up the rats and were letting them sit on their shoulders. Tommy had found a Chinchilla and was stroking the nervous, furry animal. The teens laughed and talked as they cared for their animals.

[ON THE MOON, IN RITA AND ZEDD'S PALACE]

"How disgusting!" Rita snarled when she saw the furry animals the Rangers were playing with. "Oh, Zeddy-poo." She cooed in a voice that was more like nails on a chalk board.

"What do you want?" Zedd groaned.

"Look at those furry, cute little creature the Power Pests are so found of." She pointed. Zedd used his visor to scan the scene.

"So what?" He sighed.

"Can't we use one of those critters to make a nasty monster? A monster the Rangers wouldn't destroy because it is really one of their pets." Rita asked.

"Yes. That Piggums animal will do. Goldar!" Zedd called for his lackey.

"Yes my Lord. How may I serve you?" Goldar bowed.

"Take down a legion of Putties and get that Piggums animal!" Zedd ordered.

"Yes my Lord." Goldar bowed.

[ANGEL GROVE HIGH SCHOOL]

The Rangers had left the animals to go to lunch. No one noticed the putties teleport in and grab Piggums. The little guinea pig protested at being taken from its home, but was helpless to fight it. The Rangers would not have realized that Goldar was in the school if he had not searched them out and sent more putties to attack them in the cafeteria.

"Yuck!" Aisha gagged when she was given her noon time meal of mystery meat and gravy with semi-frozen mashed potatoes and mushy peas. "What is this stuff?" She held her nose.

"I dunno. And, I don't want to know either!" Rocky turned his head away. The two Rangers quickly caught up with Adam, who had reserved the three best pieces of chocolate cake for his friends. Just as Rocky and Adam reached him, Bulk and Skull pushed them aside and took the cake, literarily.

"Hey!" Adam protested.

"Shut up, dweeb!" Bulk growled. He crammed all three pieces of cake into his mouth. Skull laughed at his friend.

"Atta boy, Bulkie!" He howled. Bulk grinned with his mouth full of half chewed cake. He leered at Aisha.

"Hey, Aisha, wanna go with me and watch the submarine races?" he offered.

"Ew! No way!" She pushed Bulk away from her.

"You're loss, babe." Bulk growled. Then, he and Skull stormed off.

"Hey, you gonna pay fer dat?" A lunch lady yelled. She glared at Adam, Rocky and Aisha. The Rangers sighed and paid the bill for Bulk's gluttony.

However, before any of the trio could reach the table were the other Rangers sat, the putties appeared out of nowhere and attacked them. The students ran out of the cafeteria. Tommy, Kimberly and Billy, the only Rangers who packed a lunch, ran to aid their friends.

Tommy took out two putties with a roundhouse kick the hit the "Z" spot on the putties' chest; their only weakness.

Adam employed his lunch tray, using it to send putties sliding down the line. The half asleep lunch ladies ladled gravy and mashed potatoes on the hapless putties. "No cutting in line!" Adam added.

"Fore!" Aisha swung her tray and took out a putty.

"See ya!" Kimberly flipped over a putty and kicked it in the rear. The putty slammed into the salad bar. A ladle full of Italian dressing broke the "Z" spot.

Rocky kicked a putty in the groin, then in the face. It flew into a vat of boiling mystery meat and sauce.

Billy flipped around a putty, making it dizzy. As it fell, Billy tapped the "Z" spot.

Just as suddenly as the attack began, it was over. The Rangers gathered together in the empty cafeteria. Tommy activated his communicator.

"Zordon, this is Tommy." He whispered.

-WHAT IS WRONG, TOMMY?

"We were just attacked by putties in the cafeteria. Everyone is OK, though." Tommy updated his mentor.

-THIS IS VERY STRANGE. MY SENSORS SHOW THAT GOLDAR WAS IN YOUR SCHOOL, IN THE BIOLOGY ROOM. BUT HE HAS SINCE LEFT.

"Oh no! The Biology room!" Aisha gasped.

"We'd better check it out." Tommy said. The teens ran out of the cafeteria and ran into Mr. Kaplan, the principal.

"Thomas, where are you going?" Kaplan demanded.

"Um, to the Biology lab. I, um, left a homework assignment in there." Tommy lied.

Kaplan shook his head. "Thomas, your poor memory is really starting to worry me. I think that maybe you and I or maybe you and Mrs. Rodregiz should have a little talk about what is making you so forgetful." Kaplan was warming up to his favorite topic. He didn't completely approve of Tommy Oliver. He was too different than the rest of the quiet, normal students in his school. With his long hair and earring, he looked more like a skinny street punk than a decent, law abiding citizen of Angel Grove.

"Um, Mr. Kaplan, I have to get that assignment. Excuse me." Tommy edged past his principal. Kaplan grabbed his shoulder.

"Before you leave, could you tell me what happened in here? I was told there was a putty attack." Kaplan asked.

"There was, but the Power Rangers appeared and took care of it. Then, they left. Excuse me." Tommy left.

"Sheesh," Kimberly whispered. "I don't think Kaplan likes you very much."

"Yeah, Tommy, he's always really hard on you." Adam added. Tommy shrugged off his friends' comments. Kaplan was the least of his worries right now. As soon as they entered the Biology lab, Aisha screamed.

"PIGGUMS!" Aisha wailed. "He's gone! That awful Goldar took him!" Kimberly hugged her friend.

"We'd better tell Zordon." Adam whispered.

"What would Zedd and Rita want with a guinea pig?" Rocky asked. None of the Rangers had an answer.

"Zordon, this is Tommy. Come in." Tommy activated his communicator again.

-RANGERS, I AM AWARE OF THE SITUATION. PLEASE TELEPORT TO THE COMMAND CENTER IMMEDIATELY.

"Right. Kim, are we clear?"

Kimberly looked around. "Yeah." She smiled. The Rangers teleported to the Command Center.

[THE COMMAND CENTER]

RANGERS, GOLDAR HAS TAKEN PIGGUMS SO LORD ZEDD CAN MAKE HIM INTO A MONSTER THAT WILL EAT ALL THE TREES IN ANGEL GROVE.

"Ai yi yi yi yi!" Alpha wailed. "Those trees are needed to keep the air clean and provide home for birds!"

"Yeah. We can't let Zedd do that. But, Zordon, we can't destroy Piggums." Tommy added. "He's only a baby and an orphan. His mama, Brownie, died yesterday."

I AM SORRY, RANGERS. I KNOW HOW FOND ALL OF YOU WERE OF BROWNIE.

"Ai yi yi yi yi yi!" Alpha sniffed. "This is so tragic."

[ANGEL GROVE PARK]

Goldar put the terrified guinea pig down on the grass. A magic cage appeared around it. Then, the gold space monkey slipped a collar around it's furry neck. "Now you will become the dreaded Nibbles monster, my furry friend!" Goldar waved his sword. "The creature is ready for your spell, My Lord!"

[THE MOON, ZEDD'S THRONE ROOM]

"Good." Zedd growled. "Rita, my dear, are you ready?" He asked his monstrous wife.

"Of course, mold muffin." Rita grinned.

The two evil leaders crossed their staffs. "NIBBLES ARISE!" They commanded. The lightening shot out and struck the tiny pig. It grew larger and larger until it broke the bounds of the cage. Piggums was now ten feet long from head to tail and seven feet tall at the shoulders. It started to eat the nearest tree.

"Yes! This is the best monster ever!" Zedd proclaimed.

[THE COMMAND CENTER]

WOOP!! WOOP!! The alarms yelled out the alert. The Rangers looked at each other.

"What's wrong, Zordon?" Tommy asked.

ZEDD HAS TURNED PIGGUMS INTO THE NIBBLES MONSTER. YOU MUST DESTROY THE MAGIC COLLAR AROUND HIS NECK FOR PIGGUMS TO RETURN TO NORMAL. MOVE QUICKLY, RANGERS, BEFORE HE EATS ALL THE TREES IN ANGEL GROVE.

"OK. IT'S MORPHIN TIME!"

"WHITE RANGER POWER!

BLACK RANGER POWER!

PINK RANGER POWER!

BLUE RANGER POWER!

YELLOW RANGER POWER!

RED RANGER POWER!"

[ANGEL GROVE PARK]

The Rangers landed in the park. Piggums was nibbling on a large, ancient oak tree.

"Hey! That tree is over a hundred years old!" Aisha protested. "Piggums, stop it!" She called out. Piggums turned around and trilled. Even in his monster-sized state, he still recognized his mama. He trilled and shook the ground with it.

"He knows you, Aisha." Tommy said.

"He's not crawling down my shirt like that!" Kimberly humped.

The Rangers laughed at their Pink friend.

During this time, Piggums had waddled over to Aisha. He bumped up against her. Aisha scratched his head. "Poor baby." She cooed.

[THE MOON, ZEDD'S THRONE ROOM]

"NO!" Zedd slammed his metal shod fist down on the balcony. "That should teach me not to use anything cute as a monster." He growled, glowing red.

[ANGEL GROVE PARK]

As Aisha petted the monster Piggums, Tommy grabbed the collar and took it off. He tossed it on the ground. Kimberly grabbed her blade blaster and disintegrated it. Piggums shrank down to normal.

Still in shock, the now tiny piggy whimpered. Kimberly picked him up and cuddled him.

"Let go back to school." Tommy said.

The Rangers teleported back to the biology lab and unMorphed. Piggums crawled down Kimberly's shirt and nestled down into her bra. The other Rangers crowded around her.

"Poor little guy." Tommy shook his head. "So, Aisha, who's gonna take Piggums home when he's old enough?"

"Well, Kimberly and I are going to be Piggums mamas. He can go home in a few days." Aisha said. "We have his cage all set up in our room!" Piggums peered out from his little nest and trilled with excitement.
